SEASON’S GREETINGS FROM WMRA

Dear WMRA friends,

I would like to wish all who enjoy and are passionate about running in the mountains a happy Christmas and New Year. 

2025 has been a very successful year for the Association and our sport, with the most impactful World Cup so far and of course the season highlight of a very competitive World Mountain and Trail Running Championships in Canfranc Spain.

These are exciting times for mountain running as it continues to grow in popularity and relevance and WMRA looks forward to continuing to work with its partners, both existing and new. In doing so we remain committed to respecting the unique culture of mountain running, as well as safeguarding the sport’s fairness and integrity.
