We are pleased to publish details of the upcoming WMRA Athletes Commission elections; voting for which will take place at this year’s World Mountain Running Championships in Villa La Angostura, Argentina. Having established our Athletes Commission two years ago, it has and continues to provide a critical link between the WMRA Council and the top mountain running athletes, ensuring that athletes views are a core part of our sport’s decision making process.

Of the twelve Athletes Commission members spots, we currently have five up for election this cycle and are accepting applications from suitable candidates from suitable candidates who must have competed as a senior athletes in a WMRA World Championship event over the last 10 year before the closing date for applications is 1 September, 2019.
