Mark Kangogo has received a ban of 3 years from the Athletics Integrity Unit. Overall and Long category Valsir World Cup standings have been updated.

The Athletics Integrity Unit has banned Mark Kangogo for 3 years after he tested positive for 2 substances prohibited by the World Anti Doping Agency at Sierre-Zinal 2022, Norandrosterone & Triamcinolone acetonide. The details of the A.I.U. decision can be found here.

The ban runs from 9th September 2022, with disqualification of the athlete’s results from 13th August 2022.

As such, Andreu Blanes is the winner of Sierre-Zinal 2022.
