I have been competing in the Mountain Running World Cup since 2012 and represented Japan at the World Championships from 2013 to 2019. In 2022, I won a team bronze medal at the Masters World Championships, followed by a team silver medal in 2023. I have long been participating in the World Cup as one of the leading athletes from Asia.

Mountain running is especially popular in Europe, but I am committed to helping it grow across Asia and worldwide. As a member of the Athletes’ Commission, I am working to support the global development of mountain running.
