WMRA  Associate Race Membership

WMRA Associate race status is open to all races which meet the criteria set out in World Athletics Rule 57 and are normally up to marathon distance in length.

Benefits to a race organiser of becoming an WMRA Associate race are:

• Increased international visibility through being listed on the WMRA events calendar
• The race being included in the WMRA World Mountain Running Ranking – giving it Greater appeal to elite and ambitious athletes seeking ranking points
• Use of WMRA Associate member logo and Mountain Running World Ranking logo – Strengthening the status and credibility of your event within the mountain running community
• Additional promotional exposure through WMRA communication channels and social media
  • Two news items uploaded on the WMRA web page before and after the race event (where information is provided to the WMRA by the race organiser; information to be sent minimum 72 hrs before the event and no more than 24 hrs after the event, including winner pictures.
  • 2-4 posts featured in the WMRA channels before and after the race.
