Paolo Germanetto earns European Athletics Coaching Award

Congratulations to Paolo Germanetto (Italy) on earning a 2018 European Coaching Award given by European Athletics. Paolo as the personal coach of Martin Dematteis, Xavier Chevrier and Bernard Dematteis, winners of the last three European Mountain Running Championships. 

Paolo is also the coach of the Italian Mountain Running Team. Italy has won more mountain running medals than any other country and has hosted the World Mountain Running Championships 9 times since its inception in 1985.

In addition to his coaching, Paolo is President of Atletica Susa, hosts of the historic Memorial Partigiani Stellina mountain race and 2016 World Masters Mountain Running Championships.

The European Coaching Awards have been given by European Athletics since 2010.
